Bob participates in the development of various large and small-scale integrated CAD, engineering and GIS applications, creating custom desktop as well as intranet and Internet-based systems.
Prior to joining Microdesk, Bob was responsible for the planning, coordination and completion of a wide variety of GIS projects over a nine year span as a GIS Applications Developer, Programmer, Analyst and Project Leader. He was a Senior GIS Applications Engineer for Intergraph, providing application development, consulting services and end-user technical support. Bob also has experience as a Cartographer and GIS Systems Manager. He played a key role in the development and deployment of a cutting-edge remote sensing system.
He has extensive experience with a Visual Basic, VBA, MapBasic, ActiveX, OLE/COM and SQL. Bob also has experience with HTML, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, Installshield Scripting, Windows API, AML, C, DAO and ADO. Bob has a Bachelor of Science in Cartography from Salem State College.
