Project Mentoring
As an extension to our training services we often provide our clients with on-site Project Mentoring services. Project Mentoring closely follows completion of the project training sessions and project optimization so as not to lose momentum, or more importantly use newly acquired skills. During Project Mentoring our Solution Specialist works closely with the project team members to provide ‘over the shoulder’ support as they start their Pilot Project. Since our Solution Specialist has working experience inside AEC firms, they are considered part of the team, and can be relied upon to accurately and expertly assist the team members in accomplishing their project work goals.
Staff Augmentation
Microdesk prides itself on having a consulting team with exceptional knowledge of the products and the industry experience to apply best practices. Beyond traditional training and services this team can be utilized to provide staff augmentation. During critical times in a project life-cycle this can be critical in meeting project milestones or during the initial phases of the project planning.
Project Health Checking
The Project Health Check solution is a post implementation assessment aimed at checking how efficiently you are using your Autodesk design software, and making recommendations for improvement.
To conduct the Project Health Check, a Microdesk Solution Specialist will review a completed project of one or more files, created by one or more disciplines, and spend a minimum of five days interviewing teams and analyzing the project files. The Solution Specialist will generate the Project Health Check report detailing the strengths and weaknesses in the implementation. The report covers topics such as pain points in the modeling process, model optimization, industry best practices and any inefficiencies in the design process. It can also help serve as a benchmark against other projects while preparing your team to be more efficient for their next project.
