Revit MEP Content Extension
Autodesk has released more than 300 new families for Revit MEP 2008! The release of these new families doubles the content! Most of the new content is mechanical equipment, including air handling units, fans, blowers, and furnaces and pipe fittings, including nearly 50 new valves. A variety of new duct accessories and fittings, electrical equipment, and fire protection equipment rounds out the remainder of the content.
While this content drop doesn’t fully eliminate the need to create custom parts, it is much more efficient to modify and refine existing content instead of starting from scratch for every fitting, accessory, and piece of equipment. This wider range of new content makes it that much easier.
