Meet the Speakers

George Broadbent
Vice President of Asset Management

George is Microdesk’s Vice President of Asset Management where he is responsible for directing and overseeing all asset management projects. He has worked on a variety of projects including the rollout of Microdesk’s Maximo and Revit integration solution, ModelStream. On the client level, George works closely with key stakeholders to identify strategies for asset management projects and manages the effort to build out new systems.

Dr. Jeff Chen
EAM Assistant Director

Jeff is the EAM Assistant Director at Microdesk, head of EAM Strategic Advisory Services. Jeff specializes in providing strategic consulting services for clients, conducting and implementing BIM, EAM and GIS integrated solutions, and developing digital twin methodologies for life cycle BIM implementation. He is leading his team in implementing Artificial Intelligence into AECO workflows, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language programming, and so on.

Dave LaShell
Esri NYC Manager

Dave LaShell manages Esri’s NYC office, where he focuses on solving urban challenges in partnership with government agencies. He has over 30 years of experience applying location intelligence to some of the largest government, utility, and transit agencies in the US. Trained as a geographer and a practitioner of geographic information systems (GIS), he now leads a team of experts applying technology, science, and GIS to address some of society’s greatest challenges—social equity, poverty, sustainability, resiliency, life-safety, infrastructure, education, environmental quality, and effective government.
