Innovation and Implementation Manager
Sofia Kasapantoniou is an Innovation and Implementation Manager at Microdesk who provides BIM Level 2 implementation and adoption, BIM mentoring and management. Sofia’s goal is to apply innovation and evoke new approaches to improve collaboration and performance. She specializes in programming, automation, generative design and data optimisation aiming to utilise new technologies for enhancing informed and sustainable design decisions for the AEC industry.
Sofia has 12 years of experience in Architecture on the commercial, mixed-used, industrial, residential, hospitality and infrastructure sector. Amongst others, she has worked on global iconic developments such as the Euston HS2 Station, Qatar Metro, Greenwich Peninsula, Istanbul Tower, United Nations Headquarters, 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar Stadium and Heathrow Expansion.
Sofia holds a Bachelor Honours Degree in Architecture from Greenwich University (Part I), a Master of Architecture (Part II), a Master of Fine Arts from NTUA and a Master of Science in Adaptive Architecture and Computation from the UCL – Bartlett School of Architecture.
