ACE Mentor Program
Nominated by Clarke Morrison, Client Success Manager based in Boston.
ACE (Architecture Construction Engineering) is an afterschool program designed to attract high school students into pursuing careers in the AEC industry. With more than 70 chapters, over 10,000 students participate annually – primarily from metropolitan areas. This program introduces students to educational and career paths that they may not otherwise be exposed to. Mentors from the industry spend time teaching students about the work they do, and students do hands-on design projects, presentations, and site visits.
Clarke was a mentor and on the Board of Directors in Providence, RI for 4 years. He loved working with the students and seeing how eager they were to learn. The program provides scholarship opportunities and is also helping address the shortage of workers in our industry!
