New York, NY November 8th, 2018 – Autodesk University which will take place in Las Vegas from November 12th through November 15th connects 10,000 professionals from construction, manufacturing, architecture, engineering, and media creation. Together, in Las Vegas, during 4 days of learning, networking, and knowledge sharing, they work to advance industry practice. During the conference, a wide range of sessions from every level, from industry talks and demos to hands-on labs and roundtables are offered. Two of Microdesk’s consultants, Eric Rudisaile and Luc Wing, have been selected and will be presenting educational sessions during the conference.
Eric Rudisaile, Solutions Specialist – MEP, will be presenting “Build Custom User Interfaces and Interactions for Dynamo”. This developer workshop is for beginner Dynamo users looking to learn how to program their own creative extensions for Dynamo, by first helping session attendees understand the structure of Dynamo itself. This session will take place on Monday, November 12th from 9:30am – 3:00pm.

Luc Wing, Solutions Specialist – MEP, will be presenting numerous educational sessions during the 4-day conference. His first session, “How to Meet Your 2030 Challenge Goals with Revit and Insight360”, is an instructional demo that will cover how to create a schematic energy model, how to implement a 2030 reporting process and more. This session will take place on Tuesday, November 13th from 8:30am – 10:00am. Later that day, from 2:45pm – 4:15pm, Luc will be leading, “Informed Architectural Design: Daylighting and Solar Insolation Analysis”. This lab session will provide attendees with an explanation and demo of iterative daylighting analysis and cover how to improve the performance of building through understanding the analysis of solar insolation exposure. Lastly, Luc will be moderating two roundtable discussions around Building Performance Modeling. This roundtable is aimed to uncover what tools and workflows others are using in the industry and the challenges other analysts are facing. The two roundtables will take place on Wednesday, November 14th and Thursday, November 15th from 2:45pm – 4:15pm.
