Join Microdesk, in collaboration with AIA DC, at Microdesk’s DC office for a night filled with tastings of new technology and drinks! We’ll discuss the intersection of technology and architecture, all while earning AIA credits and enjoying complimentary drinks and bites! The presentations will be given in the Pecha Kucha format, twenty slides with twenty seconds per slide, and will cover topics ranging from project information management to immersive technology. Following the presentations, participate in open conversations about how evolving technologies are transforming the AEC industry.
After attending this course, participants will be able to:
- Explain and compare the many uses of immersive technology in the building industry;
- Discuss and identify opportunities for data collection and implementation in design;
- Discuss how new technologies are facilitating coordination; and
- Explore and identify next generation project information management tools.
