ONSITE TRAINING
Custom onsite training offers the most convenience and flexibility in learning. We'll bring our mobile training lab to your office; we can record the class (or just portions of it) for viewing later. Onsite classes can extend the traditional classroom format by incorporating shadowing sessions. This means the instructor stays at your office after the classroom session is over to answer questions as designers use the new software on billable project work. Many of our clients see the benefits of shadowing - it's the best way to offset training downtime with billable work..

Our workshop training sessions are full day and or half day sessions focused on specific topics and advanced features that our customers have been asking for. They are live instructor lead hands-on lab format with each student on a computer in one of our 11 authorized training centers. Our Workshop training sessions enable you to quickly learn a new process or technical challenge.

ONLINE TRAINING
Our online training sessions provide a cost effective way to learn. Each class session is lead by a live instructor with interaction throughout the training session. Students are able to share desktop screens with the instructor to ask questions and demonstrate features and functionality. Students receive downloaded exercises to reinforce learning during the training.

CUSTOM TRAINING
With design technology becoming more sophisticated with each release, we're experiencing a trend toward custom training. Tailoring the curriculum to your specific goals is the best way to ensure that the class covers exactly what you need to know in the shortest amount of time.
Microdesk's instructors can analyze your needs and modify one of the open enrollment courses - we can dig deeper into some topics and omit other ones that you'd prefer to skip. A custom class at one of our training facilities has its benefits:
Get out of your office and away from distractions that might interrupt your learning time. Our training labs have computers pre-loaded with software that are ready to go. The class is limited to your company and your staff. We can stay focused on your specific needs and questions, including ones that relate to your workflow. We can record the class (or just portions of it) for viewing later. If getting to our location is not an option, we have more than two dozen mobile labs ready to deliver training at your location.
Flexible scheduling - we can follow the standard full-day format or be broken into shorter segments over several weeks. Microdesk will even provide off-hours training including evening sessions. To supplement the process our training can be geared specifically to your project. Many classes can utilize your datasets so designers hit the ground running.

GREEN DESIGN TRAINING
The Green Training Series allows you to easily integrate Sustainability into your designs using industry standard tools including Revit Architecture, Revit MEP and Revit Structure. Add the use of Energy Analysis tools and you're on your way to designing LEED certified buildings.
